Adult Classes

Sunday School

M&Ms (Moral Misfits) (Room 6): The M & M's (Moral Misfits) class began as an outgrowth of the "Messy Spirituality" small group study. Some participants expressed a desire to continue meeting in order to achieve a deeper understanding of our faith, and several new members have recently joined the group. All members have the opportunity to discuss, question, and react to the lessons of the Scripture and their relevance to the world in which we live. New members are always welcome, so if you are looking for a lively and spiritual Sunday school class, please come check us out! Contact Steve Nixon at 812-385-4756.

New Beginnings (Room 7): This is an intergenerational group. We are single and divorced, talkative and quiet, Married and widowed. We use our diversity to help us study the Bible and to discuss how Jesus relates to us today. We hope that if any of the above descriptions relate to you, you will join us as we find fellowship together. We welcome you in Christian love. Contact Jeannie Robbins at 812-779-6227.

Perculators (Kitchen): Most Sundays we have coffee and donuts.
The discussions center around the church and the community and how we as Christians can influence them in a positive and joyous way. Meet us for coffee, conversation and Christ! Contact Bruce Byers at 812-385-2288.

SAS class (Searchers and Seekers) (Room 3): Members of this class are "Searchers" of the truth of God through the study of the Scriptures. Our teachers use the International Sunday School lesson and other resources. Our study covers the entire Bible in weekly sessions over a three year period. We are "Seekers" of ways to fulfill God's will for our group. We support the church's programs--those which service our congregation and those which serve our local and world-wide communities. We welcome your visit and urge you to participate in the class of your choice. Contact Wilma Richardson at 812-385-3025.

Wesleyan Class (Room 5): The Wesleyan class is a Bible Study class that uses the materials from Cokesbury. We enjoy fellowship together and periodically have functions together as a group, such as covered dish meals or going to a restaurant. We participate with Hillside Church during the Heritage Days Apple Pie project. We invite you to join us in learning more about our faith. Contact Paul Evans at 812-385-4640.
